SIMBIONIX URO MENTOR:
The Simbionix URO Mentor unique training system combines designated hardware and software to create a true-to-life sensation of performing real endourology procedures.
The Simbionix URO Mentor features authentic rigid and flexible cystoscopes and ureteroscopes, which provides training opportunities using a variety of actual scopes with real tool handles and enables actual insertion into working channels.
The comprehensive library of modules provides a curriculum for the training of basic and advanced procedures, starting with general essential endourologicsc skills, continuing with simple clinical procedures, and ending with challenging procedures.
URO MENTOR MODULES:
CYBERSCOPY MODULE:
Hall of Fame
A unique module featuring a variety of hand-eye exercises in varying degrees of difficulty.
BASIC TASKS MODULE:
10 didactic tasks in increasing levels of difficulty enable familiarizing the new trainee with the urinary collecting system anatomy and the skills necessary to perform endourology procedures
STONE MANIPULATION MODULE:
10 different virtual patient cases.
The module features simulation of the entire procedure including an interactive C-arm, irrigation pressure and contrast material injection. Learners can experience a variety of lithotripters and tools such as baskets, forceps, EHL, Pneumatic or Laser on a variety of virtual cases with different anatomies and pathologies.
STRICTURES TREATMENT MODULE :
8 different virtual patient cases.
The module features simulation of the full procedure including simulation of real time fluoroscopy, a variety of stricture treatments such as ballooning, stenting or laser and using a flexible or rigid Ureteroscope or Cystoscope, as needed. Learners can choose to work either over the wire or alongside the wire, while taking bladder pressure and vision into consideration.
